A project that unfolds three-ways : a stage performance that blends movement and images ; a pop-up book that is brought to life with augmented reality ; an immersive experience with a virtual-reality headset.
This project takes source in the wish to create some sort of digital animism: polymorph entities and transformation, radical « others », space-beings, scattered existence, monsters, phantoms, chimera, genies, and unclassifiable spirits. A fictitious and living bestiary, built from scratch, digitally, to convey fabulous and improbable sensations. A bestiary that will draw on our human condition, depicting our oscillation between poise and accident, beauty, grace and catastrophe. With laughter being our principal escape route.
